Position Title: Assistant Teacher II (Coral Ridge)
Location: Coral Ridge Head Start,Coralville
Work Schedule: 20 hours per week, 12:00PM-4:00PM, 39 Weeks
Wage: $13.43/hr (No Benefits)
Summary Description: The Assistant Teacher supports the Teacher in planning, implementing and maintaining a nurturing and supportive educational program for participating children. This position also works to carry out activities covering the comprehensive nature of the program.
Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education
OR
• Two years experience in a licensed (or school district based) child care program
AND
One of the following:
Pre-school Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
One year Early Childhood Diploma from an accredited Community College
Other related Associate’s Degree with nine (9) hours of coursework in Early Childhood Education

Summary Description: The Assistant Teacher supports the Teacher in planning, implementing and maintaining a nurturing and supportive educational program for participating children. The Assistant Teacher facilitates all program operations during the teacher’s absence.

Position Title: HPRP Housing Family Support Worker II
Location: Iowa City

Summary Description: This position is responsible for providing support services to eligible individuals/families in Housing Prevention and Rapids Re-housing Program. The support services involve indentifying housing resources for individuals/families and also maintaining case management of program participants.
Qualifications: BA in a human services related field.
Two years professional experience in a human service field preferred.
Experience developing and maintaining relationships with families, collaborative agencies, and service providers.
Possess a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
