How does the permanent housing program promote self-sufficiency?
The Linn County Permanent Housing Program provides affordable housing for families taking the final step from being in a housing crisis to developing barrier reductions and or an eviction prevention program.

What is chronically homeless?
A chronically homeless unaccompanied individual is a person with a disabling condition who has either been continuously homeless for at least a year or more OR has had at least four episodes of homelessness in the past three years. The person must have been on the streets or in an emergency shelter (not in a transitional housing program) during those episodes. back to top
