How do I apply for an Early Childhood Scholarship?

How does QECE help Linn County licensed centers?
Local early childhood professionals serve as volunteer evaluators and consultants to help centers develop action plans to improve care in areas including:  health and safety, activities, room arrangement, furniture for routine care, music, language, and more. back to top


How does QECE support early care and education providers?
After developing a plan of action, licensed centers/programs may apply for center improvement funds to strengthen specific areas of the center’s programming. back to top


Who can use QECE?
Currently, licensed centers and preschools in Linn County that provide care for children aged 0-5.  back to top


What if my center is not in Linn County?
QECE is available to offer technical assistance to Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Jones and Washington counties in setting up similar programming. back to top
