HACAP Leaders Visit DC - UPDATED
HACAP Board President John Brandt, Board Members Ed Raber and Tammy Wetjen-Kesterson and CEO Jane Drapeaux visited Washington DC this week to meet with legislators and talk about the impact of the reduction or elimination of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) program.
The group met with Senator Harkin and his staff, Senator Grassley’s staff, Congressman Lobesack and Braley, and Congressman Boswell’s staff, and found support for community action and the programs we operate.
