LiHEAP applications up from last year

LiHEAP: Disconnect/Reconnect gap continues

The Iowa Utilities Board’s most recent moratorium report on Iowa Electric and Natural Gas Utilities shows that the gas and electric linear disconnect/reconnect gap through September to stand near 4,800 disconnects and near 2,900 reconnects. [Full Story]

2-1-1 calls increase as heating season begins

The week of October 1st-5th was a busy week for the 2-1-1 Call Center. The Call Center answered 1,315 calls for the 24-county area served. This was a 40% increase of calls from the previous week of September 24. [Full Story]
