Requirements for Linn County PACES Providers

 

Providers who wish to join PACES in Linn County must:

 

  • Provide care that includes young children (birth to five years old) in Linn County

 

  • Provide care at least 30 hours per week

 

  • Be registered as a Child Development Home with the State of Iowa DHS, or be willing to obtain this registration within one month of beginning the PACES program

 

  • Be ChildNet certified, or be willing to become ChildNet certified within one year of beginning the PACES program

 

  • Be willing to accept children and families funded by DHS Child Care Assistance

 

  • Participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), or be willing to begin participating in CACFP upon beginning the PACES program
