Eligibility

Eligibility is determined by several factors:

• People who are at least 55 years of age;
• With household income not to exceed 125% of the current Federal Poverty Guidelines;
• Who are legal residents of Iowa;
• Who are unemployed; and,
• With a preference given to Veterans, Qualified Spouses of Veterans, eligible minorities and those over the age of 60, having poor employment prospects or great economic need.
