HACAP is a community action agency serving nine counties in Eastern Iowa with 45 programs that help more than 78,000 people each year. Since 1965, we’ve worked alongside our neighbors to remove barriers in food, health, housing, and early childhood so every person has the opportunity to thrive. Guided by partnership, innovation, and the Promise of Community Action, we create pathways to stability and stronger communities.
