HACAP Food Reservoir Presents it's Summer Community Food Drive: A New Chapter in Fighting Food Insecurity!

HACAP Food Reservoir’s summer food and fund drive, formally known as Eastern Iowa Freedom from Hunger is now Community Food Drive. This event, just like EIFFH in years past, was designed to alleviate some of the extra stress placed on food insecure families while kids are home for the summer. Event runs June 1st - August 31st.

Where Your Donations Go

We are so excited to announce that this year, we have added three additional rural locations to expand this community event to: Benton, Jones, and rural Linn County as well! All food donations go directly to our partner agencies as they support families across our service area, with donations from our rural events going directly to the pantry locations in that area. This expansion helps ensure that more families in underserved areas receive the support they need. Together, we’re building stronger, more food-secure communities across Eastern Iowa.

A Little Goes a Long Way - Every $1 You Give Helps Put 5 Meals on the Table for a Neighbor in Need.

Community Food Drive is an excellent way for area businesses, organizations, families and individuals to join us in the fight against hunger.
