You can easily sign up for a volunteer shift with HACAP through our online portal, where you can browse a variety of opportunities to give back to the community. Once signed up, you'll have access to view our greatest needs.
Current Volunteer Needs
Tax season is just around the corner, and we need your help! HACAP is seeking dedicated volunteers in the Dubuque area to join our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. VITA volunteers provide free tax preparation services to eligible individuals and families, helping neighbors maximize their refunds and strengthen their financial stability. No prior tax experience is required. Training is provided. Make a meaningful impact in your community this tax season by volunteering with VITA. Senior Meal Delivery Volunteer - Belle Plaine, IA
Deliver nutritious meals to older adults. Vehicle is provided by HACAP.
Hours: Monday - Friday; 10:30 AM - 12 PM
