Help out our littlest people in need!

Building better communities involves ensuring the success of our children, and the path to a better tomorrow starts with you. If you are looking for a meaningful way to support the youth in your community, we can help.

How to Help

HACAP’s goal is to provide essential resources to children during this critical time of growth to prepare each child, and their family, for success in school and in life. We operate 14 Head Start Centers in Linn, Johnson, Benton, Jones and Washington Counties, and funding to supply those classrooms with the items necessary to promote positive early development only goes so far – this is where we rely heavily on support from our community partners who are passionate about the development of our community’s youth. Our Head Start centers are always in need of a fresh stock of art supplies, Picture/Board books, Toys, Games and other developmentally appropriate activities. For questions, or to be matched with a local classroom, contact Jackie Schropp (319) 739-0004 or email jschropp@hacap.org.
