How to Set Up a Food Drive
Food donations are important to our Food Reservoir. A food drive increases the awareness of hunger in our community and provides an opportunity to help solve our hunger problems. You can set up a food drive at your school, work, church, or organization to help create change in your community. To get started on holding your own food drive, contact the HACAP Food Reservoir at foodreservoir@hacap.org or by calling (319) 393-7811 and pressing 2.
Financial Donations
Financial donations help operating costs, which includes warehouse equipment, food purchasing, staff and food transportation. A $1.00 donation allows the Food Reservoir to purchase approximately 6 meals.

Do you have your own vegetable garden at home? The HACAP Food Reservoir will graciously accept any of your excess produce during the summer months. Just make sure to call or email in advance before you deliver your fresh fruits and vegetables to the Food Reservoir.
