Energy Assistance
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) program year begins October 1, 2026 for anyone 60 or older and/or disabled in the household. Everyone else may apply beginning November 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027. If you have a disconnect notice or gas shut off (you are at 30% or less on your deliverable fuel, or your furnace does not produce heat), please contact your local HACAP office below to see if there is anything we can do to assist.
A&E applications for LIHEAP cannot be completed online and must be mailed into your local HACAP office listed at the bottom of this page.
