HACAP Opens New Dubuque County Outreach Office Located Near Town Clock
DUBUQUE, IA – Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP) opened a new Dubuque County Outreach Office on October 15 located at 220 W. 7th St. just under Town Clock. The new outreach center has replaced the former Operation: New View Office on Central Avenue and that building is no longer a place of service.
As mentioned in a previous release, on October 1 Hiawatha-based community action agency, Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP), merged with Operation: New View Community Action Agency to expand HACAP’s services in Dubuque, Delaware and Jackson counties. The initial merger was approved by the Operation: New View Community Action Board of Directors at a meeting back in March 2020.
Business hours for the new outreach office will be Monday-Friday open from 8am-5pm and staff can be reached at the site by calling 563-556-5130. Due to COVID-19, walk-ins will not accepted and services will be by appointment only.
