Paces to Quality Awarded Rural Childcare Derecho Recovery Grant to Help Providers

HIAWATHA, IA – HACAP’s Paces to Quality program has been awarded with the Rural Derecho Childcare Recovery Grant that is aimed at helping providers in rural Linn and Benton counties to recover from the August 10th storm that devastated the metro area.
 
Childcare providers who are located in rural Linn or Benton county and outside of the 52401, 52405, 52302, and 52233 zip codes may be eligible to receive a recovery grant of anywhere between $500-$2,000. Applications are being accepted now through December 2021 or until funds are exhausted.
