Hiawatha, Iowa — Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc. (HACAP) today announced that Chief Executive Officer Jane Drapeaux will retire in December 2025, marking the end of an extraordinary career dedicated to service, leadership, and creating local solutions for local issues.

Drapeaux has been with HACAP for more than 25 years, serving as CEO since 2007. During her tenure, HACAP expanded its core service area to nine counties across Eastern Iowa and grew its annual revenues to more than $60 million. Under her leadership, the agency strengthened its programs to break down barriers and create opportunities for success for thousands of families each year.
