About the Northwest Neighborhood Resource Center (NWNRC)
The Northwest Neighborhood Resource Center (formerly Olivet Neighborhood Mission) is a multi-use center that houses both a food market and our Head Start Early Childhood Education program which is aimed at serving our neighbors in need on the northwest side of Cedar Rapids. Those in need of assistance will have the opportunity to make an appointment to reserve a shopping time within NWNRC’s Food Market and receive information on other community programs that can help assist with specific needs.

Food Market Hours: Appointments can be scheduled Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Donate or Volunteer at NWNRC
Help us come together and support families in our community by donating your time and/or resources. Hundreds of families rely on this food market each week, especially through the holiday season. Your help is greatly needed and appreciated!

Any of the following items including dairy, produce, or perishable items can be dropped off directly at the NWNRC; 230 10th St. NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405 during the operating hours listed above. At this time, we are unable to accept clothing donations. We appreciate your generosity and understanding.
