About VITA
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, is a free, reliable, and trusted source for preparing tax returns for eligible individuals and families. All volunteers and staff are IRS-Certified and ready to assist you during the tax filing season.
Who is eligible?
- Households with no farm income, rental income, or business income
- Dubuque, Delaware, and Jackson County residents
- Individuals/families who generally make $64,000 or less
- Persons with disabilities
- Limited English-speaking taxpayers
